Judson College Grading System
Judson College uses a grading scale from A (Excellent) to F (Failure), with grade points ranging from 4.00 to 0.00. Plus and minus grades are included to give a more precise evaluation of your academic performance
Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by dividing the total grade points earned by the number of quality hours—the courses that count toward your GPA.
If you want to boost a grade below a C, you can retake the course, and only your highest grade will count toward your cumulative GPA.
We also offer a Pass/No Credit option, which encourages you to explore different electives without affecting your GPA if you meet specific criteria.
You can keep track of your mid-semester and final grades through the MyJudson portal, so you’ll always know where you stand.
If you run into extenuating circumstances, you might be granted an Incomplete grade, giving you extra time to wrap up your coursework.
Should you have any issues with a grade, there’s a formal grievance process to ensure everything is handled fairly and clearly.
Our comprehensive grading policies reflect Judson’s commitment to academic excellence and student success, providing a transparent framework to help you achieve your goals.
