Stillman College Grading System
Stillman College employs a clear, transparent grading system to help students comprehend their academic standing. Grades range from A to F, with an “A” being the highest at 4.0 points and an “F” earning 0.0 points.
In addition, there’s the “FA” grade, which is assigned if a student fails due to excessive absences. It also carries 0.0 points.
In English composition classes, students may also encounter “NC” (No Credit), which does not impact their GPA. A “C” or higher grade is required to progress to the next level in first-year English courses.
If a student receives an “Incomplete” (“I”), they must resolve it by the eighth week of the next term, or they will have to repeat the course. For those in the Accelerated Management Program, incompletes must be cleared by the end of the next module.
Withdrawal grades like “W” and “WP” allow students to exit a course without affecting their GPA. This system balances accountability with flexibility, ensuring students can continue advancing academically.
