UAF GPA Criteria
Academic Requirement
Suppose you want to be considered for admission to the B.Sc. Computer Science program, you must have passed the Higher Secondary School or an equivalent exam from a recognized institution and received a minimum of 45% marks.
Please note that marks earned through NCC and Hafiz-e-Quran will not be considered, and 20 marks from each will be excluded.

Academic Standing
The requirements for GPA to be admitted to the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) differ based on the specific subject and program of study.
- To be eligible for the degree award, the student must attain a minimum CGPA of 0.75 by the end of the second semester.
- And a minimum CGPA of 1.00 by the end of subsequent semesters.
- To pass a course, a student must individually attain at least 40% marks in the theoretical and practical components.
- It is imperative (essential) that the student aims for a minimum CGPA of 2.20, as failing to achieve this will result in immediate removal from the university rolls, with no possibility of readmission.
UAF GPA Credit Hours
The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) academic year will be split into two Semesters, Winter and Spring, each lasting 19 weeks.
A “Credit Course” is a mandatory course of study that must be completed to obtain a degree.
A “Credit Hour” signifies the completion of a course, which equates to one semester hour in theory or two semester hours in practical per week.
Minimum Credit Hours Requirement
- Completing at least 120 Credit Hours within eight (8) semesters is mandatory to obtain a degree.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester must be completed.
Minimum and Maximum Credit Hours
- As a student, you must enrol in the first and second semesters and complete the total number of credit hours specified.
- Once this is done, you can register for courses with a minimum of 17 Credit Hours and a maximum of 27 Credit Hours.
- It is deemed acceptable as long as the maximum credit hours typically do not exceed 30.
- Extra credit hours will only be permitted during the 7th and 8th semesters.
